Spinal Decompression, Flexion-Distraction & Recovery Technology
State-of-the-art therapeutic tables and biophysical technology to treat complex spinal conditions without invasive surgery.

Under our chiropractic care program, we utilize state-of-the-art therapeutic tables and advanced biophysical technology designed to treat complex spinal conditions without invasive surgery.
From computerized lumbar and cervical decompression to gentle flexion-distraction, red light therapy, cryotherapy, and pneumatic compression — every tool in our Seattle clinic exists to help you get the most out of every session with us.
Decompression and table modalities are covered under chiropractic care plans, Auto PIP, and L&I with attending physician approval. HSA/FSA eligible across all therapies.
Tables, Modalities & Recovery Technology
Lumbar & Cervical Mechanical Decompression
Computer-controlled traction (Triton MP-1 units) creates negative intradiscal pressure — retracting herniated or bulging disc material while drawing nutrients, oxygen, and fluid back into the disc space. Sessions last 10–15 minutes.
Flexion-Distraction Table Therapy
Gentle, doctor-guided rhythmic passive motion (Cox Technique) for the lumbar spine — decreasing intradiscal pressure and promoting circulation without high-velocity thrusts. Sessions last 5–15 minutes.
Red Light & Low-Level Light Therapy
Full-body red light bed and photobiomodulation stimulate cellular energy and tissue recovery, calming nerve irritation and reducing inflammation. Sessions are 15 minutes.
Localized & Whole-Body Cryotherapy
Targeted XCryo cold therapy for isolated areas of injury, plus immersive whole-body electric cryotherapy down to -40°F. Sessions range 1–3 minutes, always with your comfort and safety first.
Pneumatic Compression (Normatec)
Inflatable-chamber compression for legs, arms, and hips — great for circulation and injury swelling between massage sessions or alongside chiropractic and rehab plans. 30-minute sessions.
A Typical Decompression Session
- Evaluation: imaging review and exam confirm you are a candidate for table therapy.
- Positioning: comfortable harnessing on the lumbar or cervical decompression table.
- Computerized Cycles: gentle traction and relaxation phases for 15–30 minutes.
- Adjunct Therapies: cryotherapy, red light, or compression to boost results.
- Re-Assessment: progress tracked against your overall care plan goals.
